We stayed at Grammy and Wolfgang's house in Hurricane. Grammy likes to buy the National Enquirer and Jen was apparently shocked that Dr. Oz is a fake (or maybe the fact that Jen rejected Brad).

And they were not disappointed
Matt got Super Mario Brothers for the Wii for his b-day. Because he's just not spending enough time playing video games. Actually, I can play this classic game with him - good father-son bonding time.
About a week before he turned 13, Matt received his Life Scout rank. He has now officially caught up to his dad in scouting advancement.
We had a little time to go him some balls at the sky mountain golf course (10th fairway is in Grammy & Wolf's back yard). Beautiful red rocks surround this course.
Wolfgang came and gave us a few pointers on how to make the ball go straight.
Later in the day we had a picnic at the park. The tempurature was mid-60's and sunny.
There was plenty of time to play on all the fun features at the park. Here Jill helps Dude climb up to the slide.

Thanks for posting the pictures Blaine. Congratulations Matt on your achievements in scouting.
What great pictures--I wish we could have been there, it looks like you all had a great time. Happy Birthday to Matt--I can't believe he's 13 already, where did the time go??
